Junior Achievement (JA) relies heavily on volunteers to support their mission and programs and to make a difference with children — just like us!
Our partnership encourages, supports, and educates children to flourish in the modern world. We’ve targeted two programs for Pioneer participation:
Job Shadow Day combines Junior Achievement’s work with the Pioneers program Project Connect.
JA America Works focuses on the impact of business, economics, and entrepreneurship on the economic development of the U.S. during the 19th century. The 5th lesson in America Works introduces students to the telegraph, one prominent form of commerce. Project Connect is offered in the 7th session with more in-depth teachings of telecommunications and technology.
