With the end of summer nearing, thoughts turn for many to heading back to school.

“Back to School” means “Back to Work” for many of our volunteers who focus on helping students in the United States and Canada start off the school year on the right foot.

With education as a primary focus of our community service efforts, it has come to be expected that Pioneers will provide the support students need. Pioneers are making a difference inside and outside of the classroom, from pre-K on.

There are many organizations that provide for students in September, but what sets Pioneers apart is that we provide support throughout the year.  After filling backpacks with supplies, we develop relationships with schools and with teachers that lead to the introduction of programs such as Power Up To Read and Project Connect.

Visit Pioneers Essentials, our new online resource for materials and merchandise designed to assist Pioneers with their volunteer projects and member recruitment.  You’ll find Power Up to Read books to fill those backpacks with and all the Pioneers gear you’ll need to show your Pioneer pride while doing what you love best – supporting our students!
