Education

Supporting education, especially literacy, is the focal point of many TelecomPioneers initiatives. Pioneers education programs address the needs of young people, with an emphasis on literacy, personal development, technology skills, and mentoring. We have several programs specifically designed for disadvantaged or disabled children.

TelecomPioneers make their mark on school playgrounds, literally! As part of our deep commitment to education, you will see Pioneers painting maps of the United States or Canada on school playgrounds. These maps come with a curriculum for teachers to use to teach geography.

Junior Achievement (JA)  relies heavily on volunteers to support their mission and programs and to make a difference with children — just like us! Our partnership encourages, supports, and educates children to flourish in the modern world.

We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the support that you have shown the Turie T. Small Elementary School. This was an invaluable in-service for our volunteer coordinator so that she could share it with our volunteer tutors.

Turie T. Small appreciates your interest and support as we strive to meet the educational needs of our students and continue working to achieve academic excellence in our schools.
